Well, is the Shoutbox now limited to BAM accounts? Or is there a way for non-BAM users to use it?

Think we had some racist shout in here, so I guess it's better this way, even if it's much more quiet. . . But shouting needs sometimes 2 or 3 tries. . .

If they don't have a BAM account to login to then there is no way they can shout. THis way if you say something that you shouldn't, Willy can tell who it is and take action.

Not only shouting, also the schedulers statuses are not available for non-BAMmers. This can be a little frustrating, I think - if someone want to know if a project seems to be down or something like that.

@JRenkar: Yeah, might be right, but as long as BAM accounts are limited, it will be only available for the 'elite' ;-). All other BOINCers "gehen leer aus" (don't know the english description atm). Hell, I'm happy to be a BAMmer ;-)

Having more detailed statistics would be better than BAM. Once BAM finishes beta, posting will be pretty unregulated (I don't see that much abuse anyways, and I'm here a lot). Would more detailed statistics put all that much more stress on servers?

@student_ not wanting to speak for Willy, but yes, more detailed stats would put a bigger load on the servers. More stats=more data into db daily= longer daily update
