No SLI, so a 690 IS the best option. WOW! Plus spacing is not optimal for air cooling in SLI. What Watts you pull loaded?

I'd install Xen on it, PCI pass-through to one OS, then assign CPU/RAM to other OS for CPU crunching. It IS a server!

Have you loaded it up with ram? I recommend Samsung "wonder ram" even without overclocking.
