WEP-M+2 Project seems to be running, and giving out credits.

I have no idea about the site, as there's little to no FAQs, message board, etc.

From the name/URL, it seems to have something to do with WEP, so I wonder if this might be a hacking site.

[EDIT: It only has Apps for Linux and Mac OSX.]

[Extra Edit: More info at the guy's homepage. He could have just said it't for Mersenneplustwo Factorizations.

Mersenneplustwo numbers are those integers that are two more than a Mersenne prime. Mersenne primes are of the form 2^p-1 (http://www.mersenne.org/). This makes Mersenneplustwo numbers of the form 2^p+1. This project aims to find the factors (ie integer divisors) of Mersenneplustwo numbers.

Anyone else attach to it yet? I would, but my Linux boxes are busy with some large WUs.
