28 days have passed and it's still not added.

As mentioned in another thread, the project was restarted on 9/13/2023 after shutting down in 2019. There was test work available for a couple of days, but absolutely no activity on the site since then. Unless you count huge numbers of errors on every portion of the web site as "activity".

There's very little point adding a new/restarted project to a stats tracking web site when the project has already gone inactive again.

In addition, Willy has stated that he doesn't want to add any new Russia based projects due to the hostility in the Ukraine.

Climate Prediction isn't active most of the time, and that's on. Willy's arrogance shouldn't prevent him making the site complete. Science is not equal to war.

Climate Prediction isn't active 100% of the time, but it IS active, and it is an old established project.

Whether you agree with Willy's decision or not, it is his site and he has the final say in what happens with it. Personally, I would prefer that all active projects be listed (including SPT, which is an other new project that actually is active but is not included yet due to the Russia conflict), but I don't get to make that decision or demand.

Also, the "Science is not equal to war" is a nice feel-good statement. But it doesn't really apply when a new project shuts down less than two weeks after it was restarted, so that there isn't any science (or stats) to report, and therefore no reason to go through the process of adding the project here.

A site such as this is not doing it's job correctly if it picks and chooses what to display. That goes both for politics, and how many tasks a project gives out before it's considered "active".

Uspex is not a new project, it was active in the past, and is active again recently, just like Climate Prediction. Uspex is actually online right now, you can go to their website, they just have no tasks. It's crazy to say they must have large amounts of tasks when you compare to things like Ralph which has tasks once in a blue moon, and that's listed here.

(The conversation is pretty much all in Russian, so you'll need to run it through a translator...)

It's questionable at best if the results generated are even useful. It seems a whole subset was never completed upon which subsequent work should have been based upon.

I've already spoken to the tech admin about it, the "missing" calculations are planned, just in a different order to what the project administrator would like. So whichever gets done first, it will be useful.

It appears the security certificate was only good for 3 months...
