Does anyone else have problems with AlmereGrid WU's? I keep getting errors on 2 different machines. I seems to be working fine, but they keep exiting with calculation errors. I'm using BOINC version 6.6.36.

Almere seems to be a very strange and finicky project. Are you trying to run more than one at a time? If I run more than one at the same time I will get computation errors consistently as well. But on the other hand, as far as I know, Crystal Pellet runs more than one at a time without problems, so not sure what's going on.

I will also get errors if a manually suspend and resume a task, but if the task is suspended for cpu benchmarks or by a higher priority task then no problems.

Seeing as you are member of team BOINCstats you should check out the thread for Almere in the SOFA forums -- more information there.

Because you already gathered 3,418.06 credits on the AlmereGrid project, I suppose your problem appeared when you updated to the newest Boinc client. I'm still using the older 6.2.19 version and have no problems with crunching the WU's. As Rick already told you cannot stop and start the WU's or the client. The results will turn into errors then.
At the moment (the last 2 or 3 days) the project is not really reachable. I think they still have severe issues with the database. Sometimes they running from server7 in stead of server1. Both servers are pingable, but no DB-access. Al my WU´s are crunched and uploaded, but I cannot report them or catch new work.

I've tried to request my password on their site for weeks now, but their mailer doesn't seem to work properly. Yes, I checked my spam settings several times. They are also unreachable via both their publicly known support addresses.

Did you attached your client to this address: http://boinc.almeregrid.nl/
They still running an older server software version.
Perhaps you should try an older BOINC client version to attach (if not crunching GPU-tasks), else it's a pity.

If you need support mail the AlmereGrid administrator: info at almeregrid dot nl

Thank you for the reply!

Unfortunately I've done all you suggested before, but they didn't reply to several mails and I can't reset my password on their form http://boinc.almeregrid.nl/get_passwd.php. It always sais an email had been sent, but it doesn't arrive. And as said, I checked my spam settings, I have no active filters whatsoever.
I attached via BAM! and now can't reset the temporary password.

Go to the Boinc data directory. If you was already attached to AlmereGrid you will find the file: account_boinc.almeregrid.nl.xml
In that file you will find the section <authenticator> ...hexnumber... </authenticator>.
With that hexnumber you can login at AlmereGrid on the bottom of the page http://boinc.almeregrid.nl/get_passwd.php and get full access to your account incl. changing your password.
If the file account_boinc.almeregrid.nl is not present you don't have an account. Forget the old one and just create a new one by attaching the AlmereGrid project via Boinc Manager.

FWIW, I just requested my password and the reset password email arrived immediately.

Yeah, I had to realize that too when I tried it with the new account. It must be something beyond the spam filter settings I can access. I wrote an email to my provider, so hopefully they can tell me wtf is wrong.

sry for the panic
