It looks like I got lost in the shuffle of people who had some sort of pissing match with the admin over there. I'm not getting any new work units and can't post on their forum. A fait accomplit for someone I guess.

Hi Coolbrook

You are not the only person lost in the shuffle.

Predictor can't relax the RAC forum posting requirement because they know that as soon as they do, I (for one) would post to ask why, while I was on holiday this week, every one of my posts there appears to have been deleted without a single email of explanation being sent to me. So as far as I'm concerned, the fait is not yet accompli.

My own view is that the whole affair was much more than a squabble, in that it raised important questions about the relationship between boinc and the projects, the independence of individual projects, the legitimate expectations of both project administrators and individual crunchers, and what responsibilities projects owe to the whole boinc community.

I would advise you to follow the top-level advice from Predictor, which is to find a more congenial project to crunch. Assuming that you have the big RAM needed for Predictor, you may be interested in this if you're prepared to crunch a single workunit that lasts a very long time in comparison:

Thanks for the suggestion. I've attached to spinhenge in the meantime. My clients' hardware meets their project's minimum requirements.
