The SETI@Home servers say they are up, but since last night sometime (3/5/07) I have been getting this error from all of my SET crunching machines ..... what's happening gang?

As per the news on SETI's front page:

Weekly Outage Notice
Every Tuesday around 18:00 UTC we will have a short outage to back up our database. The data servers and most web pages are offline during this time. The outage lasts 3-4 hours, and then there is a long period of "catch up" afterwards as the servers are swamped with backlogged requests.

This week our servers are being patched to include the new Daylight Savings Time schedule. Certain services (web sites, data transfers, etc.) may by off-line for short periods.

Yes, I can read. But it says "short period", so (1) My outage started on Monday PST, long before 1800-UTC, and (2) it went on for a whole day. Neither factor suggested it was related to the SETI page referenced outage, ergo, I thought I'd see if something else was wrong.
