I'm writing to find out a few things about the stats/teams/projects here withing BOINC.

For the longest time... well actually every since I started with SETI way back in the day, I've been and 'individual' with my processing/stats.
So I've a few questions:
1) Should I join a Team?
2) If I join a Team, does all of my stats/credit transfer to the teams overall stats?
3) Do I lose anything if I join a team?
4) Any real benefits to joining a team?
5) Do teams require anything from their members?

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Only if you want to.

If you earn one credit, so will the team you are a member of. If you leave the team, you still have your credits.

Does the team get my credit for my past? I mean my existing credits, do they automatically get added to the team or not?

For most projects (except one) your first team will get all your credit (it's not transferred, it's yours always, but your amount of credit is added to the teams').

So, team A has 1000 credits, user B joins with 100 credits, result: team A has 1100 credits, user B has 100.

If you swap teams, your new team will only get your new credit, not your old credit.

Exception: CPDN: your credit always moves with you to other teams.

If I have the AMS Function Un-Checked that means there is supposed to be no Contact between BAM & my Hosts or at least that is my understanding. So why does BAM still list my 124 Hosts which is the most ridiculous thing in the World since I only have about 10% of that many Hosts.

I Un-Checked the AMS Function a few days ago & my Hosts were gone but when I looked today they were back again ...

I just tried to add the BOINCstats image as my signature in the SETI@home forums. Copied the BBC tag from the FAQs page, replaced the user number in the example with my own, and got "PilcQ's" stats image instead. How do I correct this so it shows my stats instead?

Never mind; I just got it right. Running it on the S@h message boards now.

Except now you appear to have two accounts, with credit split between them.
