It looks like the value for the Rank and Rank change are zero in My detailed stats under the Last 40 days tab. I would expect the value to be a bit higher...by quite a bit actually

That's strange, it looks like I had a bookmark to the wrong page. I logged in, navigated through the menu and it is now showing the correct information.

It's zero again this morning This time I clicked on "My detailed stats", "Last 40 days" and didn't just follow the bookmark.

I suspect this is related to your having a split CPID (see FAQ). I found both of these entries when searching for your stats. Once you clear that up see if your rank behaves correctly.

I am having the same problem. My Overview, Projects list and Charts pages all seem right, but the Best Ten Days and Last 40 Days are wrong. The Best Ten Days is blank, and the Last 40 Days doesn't have any rank, but the credit numbers are right. I searched for my username under the BoincStats icon, and I only show one users entry. It doesn't really bother me, because I don't compare myself to anyone, but I thought that I would let patrick.melo know he is not the only one.
