Situation : 3 hosts, BOINC 5.4.9 & 5.5.0(cruncher ?) all BAM attached here, all win & x86 ... setiAdv 5.15 & my BOINCstats BAM ID is 898

Problem ... : Asking BAM to detach my team ... Ok in BAM ... When i open BOINCmanager, viewing projects ... and my old team ... All hosts already contacted BAM ....

Solution : not seen yet ... Asking myself about the mechanism teams are said to be quit by BAM ... perhaps a problem in sync with BOINC itself ??

You should update the projects from which you have quit the team in order to see the update in the BOINC Manager. Updating BOINC from BAM won't do, because BAM itself does not synchronize the user state in the team to the host. This is done by the projects.

How could i update projetcs ??

What Son means is that there may be some delay before the Boinc Manager reflects changes made in BAM.

Are you still a member of the team according to the website of the project (look on your account page there).

Which project gives you this trouble?

I didn't quit my team on CPDN in order to test BAM if you find a solution ...

It was tested succesfully during beta.

Damn, I was sure this worked during beta, but I tested it, and indeed it doesn't work.

The bug is in the BOINC server code that rejects the request to quit the team.

Reported it to the BOINC devs, so now we wait.

The bug has been fixed by DA, but now the projects need to update their server code to make it work.

So far SETI, SETI Beta, BOINC Alpha and PrimeGrid are updated.

It is ok for me now ...

I have a problem and maybe It´s BAM which causes it...
At the projects you suggest above I loose my Team, every day or 2days... Except BOINC Alpha, because I havn´t an Account there...
I losse the Team only at Seti, Seti Beta and Prime Grid. The Account pages shoq Team:None, if I rejoin BOINC Synergy, they show that I´m a Team member for a day or two, and then the same thing... Team:none... ;(
I have posted this on the Seti Q&A board and David Anderson suggested that someone might have my password and plays with my account. Therefore I changed my password on all BOINC Projects, rejoined BOINC Synergy in Seti, Seti Beta and Prime Grid, and now after a few hours the same thing: The account pages are showing Team:none...
Because it is only at these three projects that I loose my Team, I thought BAM could have something to do with that... What would you say to this weird thing?

It´s me again! A Team mate from BOINC Synergy has exactly the same problem, and he also have a BAM Account... His Username is Gamma^Ray...

OK, sorry about my post above, your problem is very much related.

The "quit team even if you don't want to bug" was introduced with the fix for the "can't quit even if you want to bug".

There is now a fix, but as usual, not all projects will update quickly.

I just tested, and it seems most projects still use the code that won't let you quit a team.

It´s ok, but you were right, I haven´t read the rules...
